The session is intended to gather engineers, contractors, equipment and material suppliers, researchers and owners together for a rational discussion about risk as related to foundation projects. The intent is to emphasize the importance of clearly identifying and allocating risk during tender phase so that risk can be mitigated by parties best positioned to manage them and risks that become realities can be addressed fairly. The format for the 90-minute session is a series of very brief presentations by panelists representing various stakeholders followed by a facilitated discussion/Q&A with the audience.
