Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) will host a two-day technical seminar on the effective application of deep foundations, ground improvement, and soil mixing for stabilization of slopes and excavation support. The following DFI Committees are teaming to present this seminar: Landslides and Slope Stabilization, Tiebacks and Soil Nailing, Ground Improvement, Slurry Walls, Soil Mixing, Subsurface Characterization, Drilled Shafts, and Testing and Evaluation.

Dynamic technical presentations on current technologies, design concepts, research, and case histories for challenging slope and landslide repairs, excavation support and slope stabilization projects using deep foundation and ground improvement methods are planned to be featured. Presentations on challenging access conditions, groundwater effects, risk-based design and innovative applications are encouraged. An estimated 100+ attendees will engage in valuable technical discussions and software presentations while participating companies feature their latest innovative products and services in our Exhibit Hall.
