Membership

Membership in the Deep Foundations Institute is available on one of two plans:

• Corporate Membership, wherein an organization of a legal structure joins DFI
• Individual Membership, wherein an individual joins DFI

Dues at all membership levels cover DFI's fiscal year, which ends on December 31st.

Corporate Membership in Deep Foundations Institute attests to an organization's commitment to maintaining technological competence in the field of foundation design and construction for the support of heavy structures.

Each DFI Corporate Member organization, regardless of class, is represented by two designated employees. They are listed as DFI Corporate Representatives in the DFI Desk Directory and on the website members page. Depending on Class (See Corporate Membership Table) a number of Corporate Individual Memberships are allotted to each Corporate Member as well.

Individual Membership provides a means for individual industry participants to keep abreast of practice as well as the developing technologies in deep foundations design and construction. Individual members play an important role in contributing to a larger consensus voice on behalf of the industry.
