24 Bearing Capacity of Large Diameter Piling by the Internal Boring and Bottom Enlarging Installation Method: NAKS Method

Precast pile foundation by precast concrete piles in Japan has been developed by way of direct driving method. However, ever since noise, ground vibration and flying of oily dust arising from pile-driving have become a social problem as one of construction pollution. Therefore, Nowadays execution methods of construction works containing public pollution-prevention countermeasure to the social pollution. NAKS Method is an internal boring as one of bored precast pile methods. This report describes the investigation of noise and vibration and enlarged bulb dug-out investigation of the 1000 x 15m length pile tip, and result of bearing capacity mechanism investigation of 800 - 1000 m (inclusive of long size pile) by vertical load test.
