The Thomas Wysockey Civil Engineering Scholarship Fundraising Dinner was first held in Chicago in August 2014.
The Thomas Wysockey Civil Engineering Scholarship was established through a generous donation from Thatcher Foundations Inc., Gary, IN. The scholarship is named for Thomas J. Wysockey, chairman emeritus of Thatcher Foundation Inc., who is an inspiration to young engineers throughout the construction industry. The fund provides scholarships to civil engineering students attending any U.S. college or university.
All proceeds from this dinner benefit the DFI Educational Trust, Thomas Wysockey Civil Engineering Scholarship Fund.
