The annual SuperPile conference, hosted by DFI in partnership with ADSC, is taking place at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in Missouri on June 15-17.

May 5, 2022, Hawthorne, N.J.: The Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) Educational Trust recently awarded two $5,000 scholarships to civil engineering students focusing on geotechnical and/or environmental engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

March 24, 2022, Hawthorne, N.J.: Registration is open for DFI’s S3: Slopes, Slides and Stabilization Conference, July 26-28, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in Tennessee. The event is led by DFI’s Deep Foundations for Landslides/Slope Stabilization Committee and the DFI-ADSC Anchored Earth Retention Committee with contributions from six additional DFI committees that support the subject matter.

February 10, 2022, Hawthorne, NJ: Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) Educational Trust, the charitable arm of DFI, recently appointed Tom Richards and Thad Tobaben to the Board of Trustees to serve two-year terms.

February 2, 2022, Hawthorne, NJ: DFI announces that Matthew Glisson, P.E., is joining the institute as the director of technical activities, starting February 14. In this role, he will liaise with the technical committee chairs to ensure that DFI’s technical programs are high quality, accurate and relevant to current industry practice and needs. These programs include committee research, publications, conference and seminar content, as well as speaker/paper solicitation. Glisson will also identify new collaborative opportunities in the deep foundations industry.
