Testing and Evaluation Committee

A committee of industry-wide professionals involved in the use, understanding and advancement of instrumentation, monitoring and testing methods for the inspection construction and integrity and capacity analysis of deep foundation systems.

Its mission statement is: This committee is concerned with the activities associated with testing, evaluation and monitoring of deep foundations and excavations, and brings together DFI members to find common ground and create a shared vision and a consensus voice for the continual advancement in the deep foundation industry of these activities.

The committee meets by conference call the last Wednesday of each month at 11 am Eastern Time. In addition, the committee meets in person several times each year, including during the DFI Annual Conference and the DFI SuperPile Conference. The committee is associated with other societies and committees including ASTM subcommittee D18.11, PDCA Technical Committee, Deep Foundation Committee of the Geo-Institute, AASHTO T-15, TRB committee AFS30 and ACI.
